I’m starting the second sleeve of the Metropolis cardigan this week. After finishing the sleeve, I will lengthen the bottom and add the button placket. Next week, I’ll hopefully be able to visit the traditional market to find some lovely buttons.
I decided to go with a balloon sleeve, and I like how it has turned out. The cuff ends right at the wrist bone.
The yarn is Scheepjes Metropolis in Krakow. It has a tendency to split and it pills a little bit, so I’m not sure how much I’ll work with this yarn in the future. The finished product looks good, though, and this line of yarn comes in dozens of colors, which is a plus.
More soon on its progress! I hope to be done by the first week of October.
