I just finished a unique circular cardi, using Lang Yarns Wool Addicts “Sunshine” mercerized cotton, a worsted chainette yarn. This shade of gold is really pretty, but I think it has been discontinued. The pattern is a simple and very fast-moving one that starts in the center of the back medallion, and is worked in the round, to form the back and body. The front pieces are added next, and finally the sleeves are worked separately and then sewn on. A picot edge is crocheted around the whole garment.

It has that “boho” casual look and a gorgeous drape due to the construction and the high-quality yarn. I actually won 500g of this yarn in a Lang Yarns Instagram give-away about two years ago, and it was waiting patiently in my stash ever since. The cardi took about 350g of the yarn, using a 6.00mm crochet hook.
The semester is almost over, but I’ve managed to inject a little fun into the last couple of weeks. Bodhi had a great day at the Daegu pet show last Friday. He got loads of treats, and a harness upgrade, made by Charlie’s Backyard. He is such as happy boy. There was a fab dog agility competition, grooming contest, and gorgeous parrots. We didn’t see any cats or domestic animals, though, as it seemed the event was downsized a bit this year. Hopefully will see more next time.
