I’ve just finished a slightly altered version of the Tramonto shawl, a lovely garment I first made about 2 years ago. This one is done with The Yarn Collective Portland Lace, in colorway Sheepish, a soft mottled gray. I used a 3.75 mm hook, and on this second version, the body is shorter, but scalloped border is a little longer. The teal version has been gifted to a friend; I’m not sure if I will keep this one?

I love working with this yarn (and laceweight merino in general). The resulting fabric is delicate and supple.
I haven’t blocked it properly yet, so the border stitches still curl somewhat – just had to take photos while the item is hot 😀
