Blanket and sweater weather in Korea

Granny stripe blanket

This granny stripe blanket took ages to make – not because it’s a complicated stitch, but I took multiple breaks, sometimes to make whole other blankets! Granted, it’s huge – fits a queen-sized bed – but I may need a little work with my attention span.

It has four colors of Lion Brand Vanna’s choice yarn, and a simple single crochet border. I honestly can’t say exactly how many skeins I used. I believe a total of about 16.

I love the earthy colors of this blanket, and I use it all the time.

A look at the edge

What kinds of blankets do you like to make and use? Would love to see photos and hear from you in the comments.
